Cartmore Building Supplies, Lochgelly wins another UK award.

Cartmore Building Supplies, Lochgelly has fought off all other UK competition to win the Builders Merchant Journal award for top Hard Landscaping Display in the UK 2023.

At the prestigious awards in Covent Garden, London, Cartmore who moved to new premises in May 2021 and opened their new landscaping display last May were once again rewarded for having the UK’s best landscaping display.

This award follows on from winning the UK Builders Merchant award in the same category last November, an award they have again been shortlisted for at finals to be held in Westminster, London later in November this year.

The display of over 1000m2 is regularly lauded by industry professionals and customers alike for its excellence and appeal.

Speaking after the award, Gordon Banks, Director of Cartmore said;

“Its great to have captured this award on the back of winning UK Builders Merchant award last November in the same category.

Also being shortlisted again this year for the award we won last year is tremendously good news and we hope we are successful at this event later in November,

Its rewarding to note that the efforts of an independent merchant can be recognised when faced with the challenge from large national competitors. It shows that you don’t have to be big to be good at what you do!

We will continue to grow and innovate at Cartmore and our new Fibo Collect concrete, mortar and screen batching plant are proof of this.
